MInd Lab was officially launched on 30th Nov, 2018.
Justin Madden gave a special lecture for MInD Lab’s launch on “Geelong’s brilliant future: opportunity and empathy”. He suggested Geelong should focus on becoming a “City of Wellbeing” at a special lecture hosted by the School of Architecture and Built Environment on Friday 30 November. Justin who is currently a Senior Consultant at ARUP and has also had many notable positions in State Parliament including Minister for Planning.
Among the special guests was Deakin’s Vice Chancellor Professor Jane den Hollander who also shared her thoughts about Geelong’s past and future, maintaining that Geelong’s community approach was and will be a large factor in its revival.
