Innovation Workshop Diadem + MindLab
Diadem Offices Melbourne CBD, 7th February 2020
Following the established MindLab model of compulsory collaboration of research/education institutions with government and industry stakeholders to establish innovation ecosystems that will further drive complex problems solving to create bigger impact, the lab organized three hours long workshop with Diadem’s representatives – company’s leaders, designers, architects, managers, strategists, etc. The goal of the workshop was to understand how creative companies, already engaged in innovation practices through design thinking, use these processes to reframe and rethink their creative and production processes in order to stay relevant. Furthermore, the workshop aimed for Diadem to reconstruct existing operating innovation frameworks by using the MindLab expertise related to role of placemaking and storytelling in urban environments, in order to accommodate end-users needs. Finally, the workshop aimed to explore nature of collaboration and future of cooperation between academic institutions and their industry partners.
